What you gain is an indication from our value model: freed-up time valued at 44 euros per hour, plus 1 per cent better occupancy. The key figures come from a baseline measurement in a working childcare service. Your review uses your own figures.

before you start.

How does switching from our current package work?

We do the migration. We transfer your data, set up tjouly with your rates, groups and opening hours, and train your team. You get one fixed contact and a step-by-step plan with dates.

We are still tied to a contract. What now?

Then you use tjouly for free during the last six months of that contract, so you can switch at ease while your old package is still running.

Are we locked in for a long time?

No. There is no minimum term and no notice period. You can stop yourself at any time, and everything stays open to you until the end of that month.

What does tjouly cost?

One fixed amount per approved childcare place per day, the same for every organisation and all-inclusive: all apps, updates, support and training. No set-up costs. If you start in 2026 or 2027, you use tjouly free for the first four months. We are happy to discuss your price personally.

How safe is the children’s data?

tjouly is fully GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU, with a data processing agreement. A parent only sees their own child’s data, and every action is logged.

Does tjouly work with Ofsted and the local authority?

Your records are kept ready for an Ofsted inspection, and your attendance and funding figures are at hand for your local authority. Automatic submission to the authorities currently runs in Flanders.

How much time does onboarding take for our team?

Very little. The apps work without a manual and we train your team before the first childcare day. If you decide in 2026, onboarding can start in December.

Our roots & goals

It didn’t start with software.
It started with childcare.

  1. The beginning

    For almost twenty years, we’ve been right in the middle of it.

    Among children, parents and staff. Between schedules, inspections and regulations, and above all among so many wonderful moments. One thing never changed: why we do this. For children.

  2. The question

    Safeguarding quality matters. A lot.

    But we saw more and more time and energy disappear into admin, lists and follow-up. Time we wanted to give to children, staff and parents. So we asked ourselves a question.

  3. The idea

    What if technology adapted to childcare?

    Not one more system telling us how to work. A platform that strengthens our experience and gives time back. Time for staff. Time for parents. And above all: time for children.

  4. The search

    We couldn’t find the software we needed.

    Scheduling, invoicing and a short note in the daily diary: for us, that is only the beginning. Childcare is far richer and more complex, and we hear the same from colleagues in the sector. So we built our own platform.

  5. From the sector

    Not in a software company. On the floor.

    We made time for it and brought together what we had: a medical background, experience in running organisations and years of hands-on practice in childcare. That is how tjouly grew for more than seven years in a real childcare setting, among the people who work there every day.

  6. The technology

    More than once, we started again from a blank page.

    Running a childcare setting asks so much that technology often wasn’t ready for it yet. Each time it took a leap, we rebuilt tjouly to make full use of it. Experienced engineers with an international network keep a close eye on the latest technology for us, to this day.
